On the last post I mentioned the benefits of taking vitamin B-12... here are more interesting facts that I've come across....(whether we want to hear it or not).
Just Say No....to bone-breakers; soda pop, sugar and caffeine are all detrimental to your bones. Sugar increases calcium excretion. Soda is high in phosphorous, and too many soft drinks prevents proper assimilation of new calcium into our bones. Didn't know that?....read on...Coffee and caffeine subtly damage bones too. Hamburgers are beef...and here's the beef on beef...cut down on your meat intake. Too much protein causes calcium to be lost in the urine.
